Michelle Adams-Arent

Originally hailing from western Massachusetts, Michelle Adams received both her Bachelor’s degree and Masters degree from the University of South Carolina.  With over 14 years experience in personal training, Michelle is an MP Certified Transformation Specialist, a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA CSCS), certified Sports Nutritionist with the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN), certified sports performance coach with USA weightlifting as well as a kettlebell instructor.

Michelle is a competitive athlete herself having competed as a professional figure athlete in the IFBB with career highlights including 2 Olympia qualifications and a first place finish at the 2006 IFBB Montreal Figure Championships. Her more recent endeavors have returned her to her first love: running. A former track and cross-country athlete Michelle has moved into marathon and ultra marathon running and aims to join the 50 states club. This club requires that a race marathon distance or longer be run in each of the 50 US states. She is well on her way having completed more than 17 of these races in 10 different states in just 4 short years. Highlights here include the prestigious Boston Marathon as well as 2 50-mile races.

Michelle enjoys nothing more than helping people by dispelling myths and providing research-based information  about nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. She currently lives in Florida but competes throughout the United States. A prolific researcher and writer, Michelle is an MP Level 4 Certified Transformation Specialist, MP On-line Coach & Mentor.
